quote of the day: don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game - a cinderella story.today was so much better than yesterday. i woke up at 11 this morning and my mom came into the room and asked if i wanted to go shopping for shoes. since i told her my feet were suffocating underneath the soles of my sneakers. and i thought things would be; go into converse, grab a pair of white sneakers, try them on, get my mom to pay for it, and head home. but after doing that, my mom looked at the current slippers i was wearing, and said: you need new ones for that too. and i was like: hell yeah i do. but i bet you wont find any my size. so i walked over to charles and keith. everything there was either to "adult" or too "old". so after scrutinizing every pair, i walked off with my mom. so we then headed off to Isetan. then as me and mom walked past the ladies section. but our minds got distracted and we both started looking through the stuff and i tried on a few pieces. then i walked past the blue colored side and i spotted this halter-neck "dress" thing and i was like: OMG! so i went to try it on. and it was my favorite shade of blue! so as i put it on, i glanced at the mirror and gasped. "i am so gonna get this."
the room is my closet and the world is my runway.
my mom even passed me a add-on over-shoulder thing you wear with the "dress". i was surprised that she knew so much. then she knocked and asked me to show her how i looked and the best thing is that SHE SMILED AND SAID OKAY!!!!!!!!!! i was totally freaking, oh. my. god. and she got the salesgirl to get a new piece for me and she paid for it without even complaining!! woots! i still remember that last night my mom was so happy with me that i got 100% for chinese "spelling" which i can hardly ever achieve, knowing my lazy and can't-be-bothered attitude towards studies. and she was pretty impressed that my chinese handwriting has improved over 2 months. and i didnt think that THAT could make her go on a shopping spree and even watch ugly betty with me last night till 11. wow.
time changes everything.
wow. and now, my mom's out to the hospital to visit my uncle. he got run over by a darn motorcycle. and got a leg fracture . pretty bad. ouch. AAAAAAAAACKKKKK! i haven't started on my math! aack. dammit. never mind. i'll leave it to the last minute like usual. will be pretty busy this weekend. have dad's friends coming over from the UK and i gotta go eat with them. boohoo.
love is for losers. and i guess I'm one of them.
